1. Patients with hyperthyroidism are resistant to digoxin.



2. Drugs that may lead to digoxin toxicity if taken together:

  1. Amiodarone: Inhibits the tubular excretion of digoxin via the inhibition of the transport protein P glycoprotein.
  2. Quinidine: Inhibits the tubular excretion of digoxin via the inhibition of the transport protein P glycoprotein.
  3. Verapamil: Inhibits the tubular excretion of digoxin via the inhibition of the transport protein P glycoprotein.
